FIREWORKS WERE SHOT AT POLICE OFFICERS DURING AN ARREST

Last week, on Wellington South Street, in front of the Le Magog bar in Sherbrooke. Police were shot with fireworks, which resulted in a 9-man arrest.

The violent altercation was caught on video.








A Criminal investigation is underway, and additional charges could be filed.

« Sherbrooke is a peaceful city. The citizens are respectful of each other and the police. The SPS (Sherbrooke Police Service) will not tolerate this type of behaviour. Visibility will be increased in commercial areas with surveillance operations. Nothing will be tolerated. »
