NEW STUDY CONFIRMS THAT QUEBEC IS THE MOST ANTI-GUN PROVINCE IN THE COUNTRY

A study by Léger finds that 9 out of 10 Quebecers support the ban on buying and selling handguns or assault rifles. The study polled Canadians and Americans on gun control and found that :

-91% of Quebecers were against buying or selling assault rifles, and 86% were against buying or selling handguns.

-87% of Ontarians were against buying or selling assault rifles, and 79% were against buying or selling handguns.

-Alberta was the province with the lowest support for anti-gun regulations, with 65% of people in support of banning or selling handguns and 77% for assault rifles.


-68% of Canadians and 88% of Americans think gun violence is a problem in their country.

-62% of Canadians and 64% of Americans think their country should have stricter gun control regulations
