POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR INMATE WHO ESCAPED QUEBEC PRISON

Police are currently searching for François Paquette, 53, who escaped from Archambault Institution Thursday night.

The prisoner's absence was noted by staff during a 10 p.m. count, according to Correctional Service Canada (CSC). The CSC then contacted Quebec police.

He is described as having a fair complexion, brown eyes, brown hair, and wearing glasses. He is around 6'0" tall (185 cm) and weighs 187 lbs (85 kg).

François Paquette was serving a sentence of three years, four months, and 28 days for breaking and entering with possession of burglary tools.
